Nursery is for children infant to three years of age. Very young children are introduced to Bible stories and the love of God through songs with motions. Our little ones are cared for and loved while learning God's Word.
There is a class for four and five year olds; kindergarten and first graders; second and third graders; fourth and fifth graders. These classes are each taught by at least two teachers who bring the Bible to life with zeal and enthusiasm. The classes are very interactive; each filled with crafts and singing as well as sound Biblical truths.
Our sixth graders join the youth group. Youth group is composed of sixth through twelfth graders. The youth group is divided into middle school and high school for the breakout sessions. Youth are given the Biblical knowledge they need for the world they live in. Our youth team leaders are there for these tweens and teens not only in the classroom but out in the community as well. Our youth participate in a local outreach called DC Serves as well as volunteer projects throughout the year. This year we have two teams going on mission trips. One will be going to West Virginia with Youth Works and another group will be going to Africa.
There are many different offerings for our adult classes. We have a young adult and college age class called "The Rock." Our couples classes include "The Challenge Class," "Koinonia," "New Beginnings," "Mathetes," and "Fellowship Bible Class." There are two ladies classes, "Strugglers" and "Women's Class." The men have "Men's Discussion" and "Harold Benson Class." First Baptist Church Mocksville has a Sunday School class that meets across the street at Mock Place, and we offer a class for our Group Home men and women called "Philos."
Sunday School begins at 9:45 and goes until 10:45.
If you have any questions about a class please feel free to contact our Sunday School Director, Melissa Rollins, at 751-4474 or
