Making Steadfastly Together REAL.
Have you heard about Bread Breakers at FBC? Beginning just after Easter, we are going to try to make our “motto” real. In the same passage of scripture about the early church from which we draw “steadfastly together” is an instruction to have the people of the church “break bread together.” Bread Breakers seeks to move us in that direction. Bread Breakers will be a series of intergenerational fellowship meals in homes of FBC families. The first round of these meals will happen between now and Memorial day. Each meal will have a host, and each family will bring something to make the meal good for everyone. It will be a time of wonderful fellowship that will bring MORE steadfast togetherness to the body of FBC.
For now, all you have to do is sign up to participate. More details will come later, from your host. The sign ups are open from now until Sunday, March 25th. To sign up, please get in touch with Wanda in the church office. You may either e-mail, call, or come by the church office, whichever is easiest for you!
We really want EVERYONE to participate. This is a chance to really get to know some folks you might not yet know well from your church family. This is a chance to do EXACTLY as the Bible tells us the early church did. This is a chance to give “life” to the words steadfastly together!
